Main Change I Want to See on Offense

There are a lot of things that frustrate me on offense. But, man does it drive anyone else crazy how it seems like 90 percent of the time we milk the play clock down to nothing?
So often, especially after a big play I find myself screaming "Just hurry up and run the f$%@#&%! ball!" But instead we stare down the defense and call out a bunch of stuff and give the defense time to settle in. I feel like we make it so much harder on ourselves instead of just hustling up and punching the defense in the mouth and getting more easy free yards. You don't have to have the perfect play call every time. The play can be successful just because the defense isn't totally ready.
The other element to this is that whether you're a Nuss defender or Nuss hater, one thing that I think is undeniable is that when he is in a rhythm he's a much better player than when he's not. And I think when we hustle and just go instead of checking everything, it can help get Nuss out of his head and overthinking and playing timid.

Yeah, it seems like he is more comfortable going uptempo.

This is a big issue for me. We play at a slow pace, tempo isnt there. Im not a proponent of hurrying up to warp speed as that usually backfires. But there is something to be said for using a bit of pace and snapping it at times with 12-15 on the play clock. The perfect playcall clearly doesnt workout that way alot
My biggest issue with it is it allows the defense to time the snap better, which is real dangerous with him back there

Yes, takes forever to check, get correct play, set protection, etc. this has led to many of the motion penalties this year.
Agree sometimes just have a play and run the fricking play

The idea last night was to Vanderbiltize Vanderbilt.
It worked well. Nearly 35 minutes of possession to 25 minutes of possession.
