mack brown is not an amazing coach, but mccoy is a bad example. he was a 3-star kid who wasn't exactly a top recruit

he lacks top talent

The OU alumni must be absolutely thrilled with 3 out of the first 4 picks overall. Who cares that they finished 8-5?

Hey Fosh, the Sooner fans are not happy with the 2009 season. Noithing can change that. But, the draft results help sooth the pain a little... We can only hope that 2010 brings us back on the map. We'll see and tuck Fexass!

No not now, but he ain't Bud or Barry in the eye's of the beholders either. He shines at times and flutters and the OU fan base and alums don't like fluttering just like you cajun's don't like it. BTW - we could sure use another Rufus Alexander!!!!

Amazing that Vince Young, almost Heisman winner, is a bust in the NFL (just like J Russell), that Ricky Williams was a bust, that WR Roy Williams has never lived up to his potential (even though he is in his home state now, he gets no love at all). I could go on and on about UT busts in the draft. Funny how the Austin Radio Station (KLBJ) last night was talking about why Mack's players aren't better pro players and the callers were crucifying Mack for that.

It was so bad, I actually thought I was picking up a Baton Rouge radio station and instead of UT fans, it sound liked some of the LSU "fans" on this board.

What I have come to realize - unless you were an LSU fan in the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's and 2000's, you don't really understand how great we have it now and how much worse it could be. Be careful what you wish for!
