it looks alright but I still can't find the baseball schedule...

I like it. But is the nav missing for anyone else? there's a screen shot above the "Weclome..." text showing what should be there, but I've got nothing between the LSU and TAF logos in the navbar.
ETA: working now, had to reload a couple times.

Took me a while....scroll all the way down to the purple section at the bottom. You'll find all the sports down there.

Love when they change all this just when I figured out how to find everything on the old website.

The official website of Capital One Bank.

I'm on a desktop. Just click on sports and there are direct links to schedules and rosters.

Garbage. The layout and design are basic AF.This is something I would expect from the department in the early 00's as website and content designing were still developing. Their navigation bar is horrible, layout is horrible. For a big time athletic program, it screams Junior College level blandness. We are better than this.

No shite. I would expect our athletic department to be able to afford more pixels.

got any examples of good ones? serious question. I just clicked around to a few (Stanford, Cal, Michigan, Bama, Texas) and none really jumped out at me. Michigan's felt really "meh".

They overcorrected the design to be mobile device friendly IMO
The basic white background is meant for faster loading and lower costs for users on mobile data plans but it still doesn't seem to be a "responsive" site catering to the type of device a visitor uses to visit them.
Desktop version needs to be kicked up a notch
NeuLion is the same company that managed the previous site

Jesus Christ, Michigan's is horrible, too.
Some nice ones you can view are Bama, Wisconsin, USC, and Oregon
You say not Bama, but they have a layout that is user-friendly and a bit appealing to the eye. Not saying they have the best, but it's decent - nice and that's really all you can ask for from the athletic department. The navigation side bar is down mid-way through the site instead of at the top, which is an odd decision and will confuse some folks.

Bama's is cool. was just saying that no one's site REALLY jumped out and gave a wow factor.
noticing that most of these sites are done by NeuLion (LSU, UNC, Duke, Maryland - whose I actually like ) or SideArmSports (Bama, Texas, and a bunch of smaller schools like SLU and Grambling per their site).

Our new website is trash. I literally cannot find anything. We used to have so much more content available on the website than other schools did like stats going back a couple decades, old media guides, etc. I can't find any of it anymore. Not at fan, at all. I have to scroll to the site map to click on the different sports. The bar at the top once you get to the individual sport has a "more" button that odes nothing. Can't even find how to look at a roster. I mean wtf.

It's all still on there

It sucks. The website was fine. I don't understand all these websites always changing their look. I always find them worse afterwards.

Its about time. Old one had AOL and the mid-90s all over it.

how do you get to stats? I don't even see where to find that. Bottom line, the site is not user friendly at all. The old site may have been outdated but it was very organized and easy to navigate
ETA: actually, I see the problem, it doesn't work properly on google chrome. That seems like quite the oversight by the design department
