LSU's "talent level" FARCE & the Coaches are failing

This post is NOT an excuse AT ALL for what happened Saturday. I think Coach O is lost, and it carries over to the players and other coaches. Just inexcusable. It carries over to roster management as well. It's basically Les Miles all over again, just at different positions.
But, this "talent level" everyone gets so hyped up about, I don't see it in the upperclassmen AT ALL. We have MAJOR roster problems. There are so many players who played ahead of the guys who still remain, who moved on to the NFL. We are, who we saw we were on the field in LA.
These should be the classes that helps support the bulk of your teams leadership, depth, and performance. Obviously you do have diamonds that emerge, but most of those guys are gone already.
These are the 4th 5th seniors left on the team from these classes.
2017
Jontre Kirklin 3* NR 668
Neil Farrell 3* NR 375
Ed Ingram 4* NR 201
Myles Brennan 4* NR 152
Todd Harris 4* NR 86
2018
Jaray Jenkins 3* NR 448
Cam Wire 3* NR 428
Damone Clark 4* NR 357
Micah Baskerville 4* NR 277
Chasen Hines 4* NR 243
Jarell Cherry 4* NR 198
These should be the juniors and high level impact players who should be at the their college peak. This 2019 class is an absolute KILLER to roster holes, particularly at LB, S, OL (Hello!) Your major contributors are the lowest ranked guys in your class. Which isn't BAD, but the fact the core talent of your class is MIA, ain't good.
2019
5*
Stingley - Stud Starter (3)
Emery - Contributor (13)
Brooks - Transfer
4*
Thomas - doesn’t play
Palmer - Just a guy (112)
Hampton - Transfer
Ika - Transfer
TDP - Contributor (139)

Turner - 6th Lineman (568)

I'm not indicting this class yet and it looks like a class that should be VERY good at the end of the day, with certain players already emerging as starters or contributors. but its tracking similar to 2019 with players at NEED positions S,LB, OL.
2020

I agree with your analysis.
In addition to the coaching problems, the bottom line is—the cupboard is bare and this team just isn’t very good.

Yeah people put too much stock into recruiting rankings
We get a lot of highly rated “athletes” but the coaches don’t know how to find the right position for them.
And we don’t recruit to need. We can have all the 5 star athletes in the world at skill positions, but we are seeing what happens when you don’t recruit well on the o line

Look at all of the 4 star and above players who either aren’t playing or aren’t on your team anymore. The development of these kids has been god awful.

Ding ding ding…think about it. What players on this roster have shown improvement year to year since 2019?

I don't know why the LSU fan base is clueless about this. The amount of transfers and busts is ALARMING! I know college football roster turnover is crazy. But still. 2020 opt outs and early declarations KILLED that team. Our team is poorly coached and talent deficient.
I feel like 2020-2021 is a repeat of 2014-2015, 2015 fooled everyone until the BAMA game. Everyone looked at 2016 as a national contender then NOTHING changed Miles was fired.
I would HATE for 2022 to be a repeat of 2016. Rip the band aid off now.
