With labas pitching tonight I guess we will go with pitcher by committee on Sunday.

I don't understand why they aren't giving Labas the Sunday start yet

I think Fontenot starts Sunday
They will slowly build his stamina up to be a starter
He did fine for two innings, my guess is they extend him to 4, possibly 5 on pitch count and then by the following weekend he can handle 6/7 inning stint.

Not an easy move but I would try Peterson again Sunday. He may have found some confidence from his role in the bullpen.

Because he didn't fare so well this past weekend.

Because nobody wants a weekend series to rely on a pitcher that gets rocked by Tulane on a Wednesday

Don't understand why we have all these elite pitchers but can hardly ever have more than 2 reliable starters. It has been this way for years.

99.5% of college baseball programs don't have a reliable 3rd starting pitcher. We haven't in years and have sustained an elite team year in and year out.
