11-1 with loss to Bama.
That is what I have been thinking all along and one game is not going to change that.

Our stats should've put 50+ points up easy.
41 + missed FG + INT in the end zone

It will be a problem against great defensive teams like Bama.

I agree...we need to switch to one of the offensive philosophies that work so well against great defensive teams like Bama

We're just gonna need 12 men out there, somehow.

Undefeated. We are going to dominate both sides of the ball this season.

Well, when your playbook probably looks like Tecmo Bowl, any decent defense is going to eat that alive. Especially if you have a QB who can't read a defense and stares the WR down without going through progressions. The Miles playbook probably contains 8 runs plays and 2 pass plays.

Mett's role should be to keep a defense honest against pass. That's it. Run game should be our identity. I have serious doubts Mett will be able to do much with the game on his shoulders. He has physical gifts, I just don't think he has it mentally.

13-1 with loss to Bama.
We beat Bama in tiger stadium.
They linger around #4 or so in BCS
OU slips up like usual USC and Oregon each beat each other once. Michigan wins the big 10 and this is used as an excuse to boost Bama's rematch cred. Plus poor Bama was on the road the first game.
Rematch nightmare round two.

(I am kidding, but that would fricking suck)

LSU tends to lose a game they shouldn't. So that is why I picked USC

Miles has not shown a propensity to lose games he's supposed to win. It's one of the reasons I think he's a better coach than Saban. To date, Miles has not had a "UAB" or a "ULL" in him.

Don't confuse the above with "Miles has won every game in which his teams have been favored". A Dooley lead Tennessee time had him beat, Nutt beat him w/an Ole Miss team that shouldn't have beat him etc., but generally speaking, the man wins the games he's supposed to win.

I disagree with your statement about having the tendacy to lose games we're supposed to win.
