Eight for 22 for 95 yards with five three and outs against ULM doesn't approach mediocrity. We should be so lucky to have gotten mediocre performances this year.
I dont understand.....
pewee football teams do a better job of exectuing an offense than LSU does.

i was at the game last night and to be honest croton has to go it seemed that he was scared to do anything thank god for the defense

You doubt his QB dicision. Then boom, LEE finishes inspite of no thing productive under the kind of attack he's never been able to handle all game. Also,LM eliminates the culminating frenzy attack on him,if it's a loss and JJ' s finishes. So then he could play the QB who could handle BAMA.
And how many games this year if he would have let JJ finish would we have lost. Tenn, West Virginia, Florida..
The only thing I would do is let one continue to play if the offense is in a rythem

LSU's QBs looked mediocre.
They look mediocre because they ARE mediocre, at best. Take it for what it's worth, but I was at a barbecue in Hammond a couple of years ago and was told by someone very close to Tiger athletics that everyone in the department, including the coaches, felt the team was basically screwed at quarterback for the next couple of seasons. I thought he was full of shite, but apparently he was not.
Crowton may be awful, but they need to get some better talent at the position regardless.

Mediocre is a stretch.
Less than 50% completion with a 4.3 yard/catch is inept considering the completion.

safe to say. honest to say. Lee has no chance with the herky jerky playing time. Lee should have been given this entire game, with game planning aroung his style and with 6-7 consecutive series oriented around him. We would then know what he is capable of.
JJ is the only QB that gets a fair shake. Lee is mediocre, but never gets a fair shake to show hos full upside. JJ is mediocre and always gets a fair shake and occasionally (not very often)shows his upside.

Is it safe to say that w/o being called a JJ lover. . .JL hater. . .JFK shooter?
With the exception of JL against Florida and JJ against Alabama they've pretty much been mediocre all year long.
What you saw last night is more the norm than the rule. JJ doesn't often make good or quick decisions either in the run or pass and JL does not like to get hit and starts back footing or dancing whenever someone gets within five yards of him.
That's where we are with them. Fortunately we have a defense that is as good and talented as any in the country.
Ole Piss looks to be done so they'll be able to get away with mediocrity one more game, but Arky may well the biggest challenge to our D this year. We'll need one of our two QB's to elevate their play to win in Little Rock.

Let us all hope Mettenberger signs with LSU and becomes the savior that they have needed the past 3 seasons.
You think he'd start over lee and Jefferson?

Both are terrible. As bad as crowton is, if he had a good qb the offense would be decent see 07.
In 07 lsu ran jimbos offense

You have to put one in and leave him there like we tried with JJ.
We should put JL in and leave him in, good or bad it's simply was afforded to JJ that way.

Lee had two potential touchdowns dropped. One should have been caught and the other was caught but called incomplete. This, along with the other drops, would have changed the qb stats drastically.

More dropped passes last night too. That doesn't help things.

I seriously doubt he'd do more that wear the head set for the first year.
