This is actually good. Nebraska fired Frank Solich after winning 9 games and was burned down for it, just now starting to recover.

If LSU were to fire Miles right now at 5-0, there would be many national pundits that would support the move. If he finishes 8-4 or 7-5 (which is very likely), I cannot imagine anyone outside of Skip Baliss that would argue on behalf of Les Miles.

Of course, the true downside to all of this is that we will likely lose out on one of the better recruiting classes in LSU history when he is canned at year's end.

That's moronic.

really? why? for being put on blast for being obviously inept by everyone from Sports Illustrated to ESPN to Fox's NFL crew, to preacher's at small Catholic churches?

not if we hire a coach who isn't bottom 4 in the SEC.

no doubt that he stuck gold at lsu, and props to him for that. but he's also got a huge ego as most coaches do, and i'm pretty sure that what's happening in the media to him right now is not making him laugh.

this. He's associated with LSU and not in a good way. I can't remember a coach who has been mocked like Miles has been. Some coaches are bad and some can't recruit but it's Miles' completely idiotic behavior and game management that has gotten him to this point.

Does anyone listen to Rival Radio?

They have been making fun of LSU's program especially Leslie Miles or AKA the "Empty Hatter"

Rece Davis.

Also, he said going to LSU for "clock management" not "to learn football" was the correct quote.

Miles simply being the coach at LSU in turn makes LSU a joke. It's completely embarrassing to know we can lose to any SEC team at any point just because he is on the sideline.

this is such an idiotic argument. Stan Van Gundy couldn't play in the NBA, does that make him an awful coach?
