Is that just for the national championship game? I could've sworn it gets put on for both the semis and the national championship games.
It looks like the CFP patch is on the back of the helmets for the semifinals.
You can see it on the backs of these Clemson and Notre Dame helmets from last year's Cotton Bowl.
It's also on the back of these Georgia helmets from the Rose Bowl the year before (There are also pictures of the Oklahoma helmets that had them).

We need to wear purple more often, both white pants and yellow pants and mixing in the white helmets.
I was never a big fan of that before, but it looks good in combination with this high powered offense.
