could ask you what a 3 technique and see you fold without being able to look it up on the internet?
unlike you, know where all the techniques line up.
unlike you I know what a power 5 program is.

And here’s a fun fact: According to Kennedi Landry of Tiger Rag, Beth Torina was Wickersham’s personal pitching coach in high school,
I can see her being one of them but you cannot give 1 on 1's. groups only being she is a NCAA coach.
quote:
I think they can but the prospect must live within 50 miles of the school.
that only applies to travel ball/club teams if said coach is helping them in some manner. We are talking individual here. A college coach is not allowed to do individual instruction with a "prospective student-athlete." a prospective student-athlete is defined by any kid in the 9th grade or higher. The group instruction that can be performed is a group of 4 or more prospective student-athletes at a time. There has to be at least 4 individuals receiving the lesson otherwise it is considered a violation of NCAA policy I have had Coach J at nicholls confirm this. She still only does group lessons with kids below 9th grade to play it safe. There are also "dead periods" during signing times and the college world series when they are not allowed to have any HS players on campus.
this is the rule you are talking about
quote:
13.11.2.4 Local Sports Clubs. In sports other than basketball, an institution’s coach may be involved in any capacity (e.g., as a participant, administrator or in instructional or coaching activities) in the same sport for a local sports club or organization located in the institution’s home community, provided all prospective student-athletes participating in said activities are legal residents of the area (within a 50-mile radius of the institution). ...
The 50 mile radius is to prevent coaches from forming a team and then bringing all the kids that they are recruiting in to play for the team.
here is an old discussion we had about this
I used to see shelby and Jeff at coach lennie's often. Some of my players went to him as well. I am not sure if you are in tune to the softball world but he is a great coach.
Everybody should know Jeff played QB for LSU. come on.

And I'll bet you that Ree knew who he was before Shelby and he has started multiple threads about Shelby that has included this information.
Also Fat, that was quoted directly from Dandy's. I did leave out the part about Kyle - Jeff's son who is a QB at Rummel and #34 on Dandy's top prospects list. As most posters that even slightly follow LSU recruiting are also aware of him. Jeff getting credit for Shelby and vice versa is well deserved in my opinion.
