This is so ugly for SHSU. Might have to put the backups soon in the first inning.

Hate to say it, but I'm actually pulling for them to get 2 outs to end the inning. Doesn't look like it will happen.
Like they said the SHSU pitchers rarely throw strikes and when they LSU gets a hit.

The teams this weekend aren't very good.
But LSU is very young and has already beaten some ranked teams.
If the youngsters stay the same or even get better and the veterans start living up to expectations it will be a very long season for all of the other softball teams.

Whatever he said to the 3rd base umpire (after the 2nd pitcher was taken out after being called for multiple illegal pitches) made the ump bow up and have to be held back by the other male ump. The 2nd ump walked an irate coach all the way to the left field exit. The the home plate warned a fan too.
