Like I said, if you don’t get market size, you won’t understand these contracts. It’s not only about selling that specific schools merchandise. It’s about exposure of the Nike brand as a whole, UT, Ohio State, UCLA are all in much bigger markets. Hence, they get larger contracts. It works that way for all forms of advertising.
Bigger market = larger contracts
I literally couldn’t explain it in simpler terms.

Yes and no.
While the Jordan brand is part of the Nike Group, it still maintains its independent brand image. It's a subsidiary of Nike Inc.
