Only a miserable person would see last year as a failure. Almost very analyst said we would lose 2 games in SEPTEMBER alone. The 2011 LSU team was young. Almost everyone agreed that 12-13 would be our year to push for a title. Also, I don't hate Bama as much as I the Auburn.

We got beaten by a team that before 11-5 was touted as the best Bama team ever as had Saban not tried 50 yard field goals would have beaten us in BDS. I'm not taking away from LSU's win on Nov5 because special teams is a part of the game but make no mistake that we were lucky that Saban didn't use his backup kicker( the one whom kicked in the title game)on Nov. 5. We as LSU fans are becoming really spoiled, when 13-1 and a SEC TITLE is seen, by some posters, as a failure.

I had one hellacous ride last year! Im gonna jump my fat arse right back on the Tiger Train in Sept. Right after I get off this other train that departs Feb. 17.

The amazing accomplishments of this LSU team shouldn't be trashed or over looked cause it failed to win/look good in a CG.
If we can only support/appreciate teams/efforts that win the NC or look good in losing a NCG, we are pretty freaking messed up as a fan base.imo

it's over and the fat lady sang/sank ! who ULTIMATELY cares ? they get a mulligan they didn't earn, and we get toasted. ah well ! what motivation is there to go up against a team you've already beaten, or to fight the hallucinating media that STILL thinks bama won on 11/5. it's a hopeless argument and ULTIMATELY an empty crystal ball. enjoy the entertainment ruled by the press;that's all it is anymore, as is the rest of america and it's dying culture.

You are ignorant of SEC history. LSU/Bama '11 is just a blip in SEC history.

The problem I have is you and others acting like it was an empty season. That is not the case.
Still went undefeated in the regular season.
Still won the SEC West.
Still won the SEC Championship Game.
