What exactly are you arguing here? I said the 2 scenarios are similar, not identical.
I also said it had to do with preseason rankings AND other teams losing.
2025 A&M is the only undefeated SEC team.
#7 Ole Miss was ranked behind undefeated UGA, Tennessee, & 6-1 Bama.
They have an uncanny ability to finish 8-4

Yet our all time win percentage is indicative of us being 8-4. We will be lucky to get to 8-4 this year.
