If UCF had their starting QB, I'd bet the farm LSU would lose.

That’s not entirely true. Memphis had a unanimous All American RB. He destroyed us first half both games and we shut his arse down in the 2nd both games. Stuff you Randy Shannon is the master of 2nd half adjustments. Our scoring defense ranking is also a much better stat. I personally think this game will be close. We are much faster than you all think and have way better athletes than most know. This game will be close.

Yeah, I doubt that LSU will have seen that caliber of athlete in the SEC week in and week out.

We all know LSU has the speed and athletes. I just think many of you believe UCF has MAC caliber speed/athleticism and that’s simply false.

We have no one left on defense. I hate to say it, but UCF will win because out it.

This game will be close... we win it at the end on a defensive stop... 23-18 LSU

With all the players out on defense, the scoring will be much higher. I think UCF wins 38-35 on a late TD because we couldn't get a defensive stop.

We actually did try to throw some quick developing passes and it worked sometimes, but when Bama was playing man and pressing our receivers at the line and knocking their timing and routes off, it became more and more difficult to execute. Combine their dB play with their front 7 constantly pressuring our qb and making him throw out of a phone booth (limiting the trajectory of the pass, effecting burrows ability to step into a throw and eliminating possible throwing wimdows) or scramble out to avoid a sack and the play becomes all fricked up. It becomes a scramble drill at that point.

Bamas front 7 just whipped us and their dbs played a hell of a game too. We just didn't execute well enough. Some of that is due to our lack of talent and experience, but a lot of it had to do with them just being that good and we couldn't match them. We have to get better at the line of scrimmage or we won't beat teams like alabama has this year. Most of our passing woes on offense were bc of our inability to run the ball period on their front 7 and saban knew it and had us from that point on. Man for man they were just better than us up front. So, saban made their numbers make sure we couldn't double team them and when we did, their lbs roamed free and unblocked all game bc their dline just swallowed our blocks and didn't allow them to get to the 2nd level.

That's all fine and well, but there are ways to scheme around this. E's scheme is such that it plays to Bama's strengths. Which is fine if and when we can at least compete against those strengths, but we are woefully lacking in that arena right now.

LSU is severely depleted in it's secondary so you guys have a chance. I promise that the coaches and players are well aware of your team's strengths and weaknesses. You guys actually have a chance. I'm sure that your OC is planning on going at Terrance Alexander so we'll have to see how that works. Your QB is going to be on the run or on his arse all game. If LSU can run on you guys it's going to be a long day for you.

LSU wins if they stick to the run. UCF is 118 in run defense. If you watched both Memphis games UCF gr shredded by the run in both games.

UCF gives up rushing yards like Madonna gives up her pussy.

A nice way of saying that they just weren't ready. Sometimes athletes need time to develop after high school. Maybe they didn't know the right routes or where to line up. I know that E said that they had communication issues up front.

Maybe it's coaching and maybe it scheme and maybe they weren't ready. It still sounds like an excuse. The bottom line is that this offense had difficulty scoring and was shut out vs Bama (when other teams with less talent were able to do so.)

I wonder if Marshall would have been more productive in Jimbo's offense.

I think White playing will keep our defense playing motivated.

Burrow is about to explode against UCF’s secondary.

UCF gave up 260 rushing yards to Temple, who was just embarrassed by Duke.

Duke!

Temple was without their head coach. That sorta changes things...

Was Temple without their coach when they put almost 700 yards on your arse?

Another deflection from Orgeron’s lack of competence. It’s his offense and his scheme.

Pick on E for individual play calling maybe. But the scheme belongs to the head coach. Just like with Les.

BTW, I'm sticking to my earlier prediction that if god forbid LSU loses to mighty UCF, Ensminger will resign as Offensive Coordinator.

He’s already cleared himself of any liability with the offense this year and rightfully so. He and Eaux are over the moon with the job they did this year and we should be too after having to purge the disaster that was Matt Canada. We just need smarter and more dedicated players who can understand things at Slinger’s level and we’ll be great. Give him time or go be miserable with the Gumps!

The guy that ran for 140 something of those yards sat out the Duke game as did their best corner and their head coach...
