I’m not seeing this being mentioned in any article. I think that was the big difference in the game today and kept our momentum up. Those were great calls and execution today. O is outcoaching coaches with very good resumes this season

Playing to win vs playing not to lose. When LSU play to win they win, when they play not to lose they most likely lose.

1 of them was very balsy. Another one was slightly balsy. The other 2 were calls that were the obvious call imo.

I like going for it and glad we did but I fricking hate going for it only to settle for a field goal.

O also called a timeout before one attempt that we shouldn’t have taken. We ended up pinning them back with the punt and forcing a turnover. That was huge.

For certain this is the best playcalling and overall coaching LSU has had in years.

It's the focus of the AP article that runs on ESPN and CBS Sports.

Five fourth-down decisions by Orgeron influenced the result. LSU converted all four times it ran an offensive play on fourth-and-short, sustaining three drives that produced a total of 13 points.

It's the headline of the Sports Illustrated article.

When you gamble, sometimes you lose. Going for it when they were on the 38 was risky, ESPECIALLY with Burrow for the keep, again. If teams know your going to do, they have a much better chance at stopping you. We need to be more creative for 4th and short. It is all about athletes, and we don't exactly have our way on the offensive line as much as we should. I do love playing to win.

It's what hurt us vs UF.

However, at least he learned from it.

Players quoted O said he wouldn't make that mistake again. He regretted not going for it on the 4th and 1.. That decision pissed me off the most in that game.

Glad he went for for the win yesterday.
