Just googled it to see what the point spread would be. It came back with an ESPN reference indicating LSU would be 7 pt favorites on a neutral field and 10 in BR.

In a perfect world, I hope LSU wins out, misses the SEC Champ, draws a 6 or 7 seed and hosts the first round, then draws Utah in the second round, after their bye, assuming they win the big 12. Whoever wins it would probably be about the same. The media is trying to rank those teams as high as possible so they will get 2 bids....if any of those schools played in a real conference they would all be middle of the road.

Lots of football to be played 1st, but those teams that are highly ranked without a quality win don't have any quality teams on the rest of their schedules.

Yeah I wish they would just rank teams based on hypothetical points spreads

This LSU offense would score at will on Utah. They definitely are not as good as they're ranked. Kiffin would expose just how slow they actually are on defense.

First it was BYU was only ranked high so it would look like a better win for Notre Dame. After ND lost that game, now its the media wants more Big 12 teams in the CFP. Make up your minds

Dude, you try to be so edgy and it doesnt work. Rankings should be based upon schedules....not playing a bunch of misfits and getting rewarded. Their current strength of schedule, like most big 12 teams, is around 85. They are trying to get two big 12 teams in, which is a joke.

They are definitely trying to get them 2 bids. There would be 10 sec teams likely favored over any of the big 12 teams. Thats why I love the 24 team playoffs.

Ahh yes, so the 9th and 10th place SEC teams can earn a playoff spot by going 5-4 in SEC play

Not even worth responding to this...obviously not what I said. Simply pointing out the Big 12 is a fraud with all those top ranked teams. You either trolling or too stupid to understand.

And it will all get worked out. The College Football Playoff rankings haven’t come out yet. You’re pre melting about rankings that haven’t been released.

Utah wants nothing to do with this LSU offense.

Then you could have stopped at the part about there being 10 SEC teams who'd be favored over anyone in the Big 12. Adding the "that's why I like the 24 team playoff" makes it sound like you're in favor of the bigger field so the SEC can get their middle of the pack teams into a CFP

Utah plays good clean(executes, no penalties, gang tackling, good team football)football. We dont do well against teams who play good clean football.

No. It gets in better teams that would have been left out otherwise. Yes, I did check the top 7 teams currently in the sec....all would be favored over Utah, with OM being the lowest as a 2 pt favorite. Ga was -7 as well. They have bama -7.5. Tenn -3, tx -3, KY-4.....in what world would a conference that takes a bunch of scrubs be offered 2 bids...same as the ACC. Neither deserve 2 bids.
