I agree with that being the way it is supposed to work but I had to back and check something. I remembered one of the film study podcasts pointed out a RPO LSU ran against UF. Nuss pulled ball from the RB and fired it quickly over the middle… our OL never crossed the LOS.

I’d have to see the play to comment. Not all quick PA passes are RPOs. And really only the coaches and players know what was called.
