I hope so.

A&M will gladly take a not ready LSU and take the Cotton Bowl Trophy back to CS.

A&M is 9-3 vs the toughest schedule in the nation. Yes, even tougher than the big bad SEC teams.

I'm not trying to discredit LSU in any way either. LSU is 10-2 (better than A&M) and has done it versus a very very good schedule as well. LSU should be a small favorite here and I believe Vegas opened up LSU -2 or -1 depending on the site. But don't act like LSU is worlds ahead of A&M. The unbiased computer polls used in the BCS for LSU and A&M separate the 2 schools by an average of 4.5. That's all.

And my pick is A&M 28, LSU 17.

LSU-coaching uncertainties, no QB, lots of hype regarding a player that won't be playing in the game....plus a defense that struggles vs. the spread

aTm-very motivated and on the rise

flip a coin for the winner IMO

It's a little late, after 12 games, to be playing the no respect card. If we were really capable of doing something about it, we would have done something in Auburn and Little Rock. We wouldn't have let Tennessee, Florida, and Ole Miss push us all over the field.

The only real time LSU was disrespected was probably against Alabama when the LSU was listed as underdog in Tiger Stadium. Just saying..

Dating back to 2000 the Tigers are 10-1 when playing in big games in domes on turf...Just found this interesting....I like LSU by at least a FG...which would still cover the -1 spread!

2000 Peach Bowl - Georgia Dome LSU 28 - GT 14
2001 SEC Champ. - Georgia Dome LSU 31 - Tenn 20
2001 Sugar Bowl - Superdome LSU 47 - Illin. 34
2003 SEC Champ. - Georgia Dome LSU 34 - UGA 13
2003 BCS Champ. - Superdome LSU 21 - OU 14
2005 SEC Champ. - Georgia Dome LSU 14 - UGA 34
2005 Peach Bowl - Georgia Dome LSU 40 - Miami 3
2006 Sugar Bowl - Superdome LSU 41 - ND 14
2007 SEC Champ. - Georgia Dome LSU 21 - Tenn. 14
2007 BCS Champ. - Superdome LSU 38 - OhioSt 24
2008 ChFil Bowl - Georgia Dome LSU 38 - G Tech 3

Farmer, you honestly believe the Aggies played a tougher schedule than LSU this year? While A&M didn't play an easy schedule by any means, it wasn't the toughest in the nation either. That award belongs to the Tigers.

So on to my pick.

A&M has won 6 straight since changing the QB and they are on a roll. This is practically a home game for them, but it's also not far from a home game for LSU.

A&M hasn't played a team with the speed that LSU has. Their O line is going to be tested big time and I don't think they can stop Big Drake and KS. Tannerhill is going to be forced to throw some bad passes. PP7 and Mo are going to shine in this game, if they even have the balls to throw to PP7.

It won't be a blow out, mainly because we aren't capable of blowing anyone out. But LSU takes it by 10 thanks to some big returns by Peterson.

I'm just basing it on SOS.

LINK

A&M = 1
LSU = 6

As far as speed I think OU and Arky are close offensively. NU probably is as fast defensively. They have some absolute studs.

First post here at TigerDroppings.

Texas A&M has had a real down decade in Football, so I understand why LSU Tigers aren't real excited about this game.

All I can say is that good things are now happening around the A&M football program, and I expect a great, hard fought game between the Tigers and Aggies.

My first College road trip was to Baton Rouge, and I've never had a better. Look forward to talkin' with y'all
