You have to remember it is being adjusted twice. The line would be cut when it goes from an LSU home game to a neutral field, and then continues the other way when it becomes the other team's home game.

Good call, I guess I didn't consider it. I don't bet much, but if You gave me LSU and the 3 points even at Boise, I would take that all day, every day. I could very well be wrong, but hard for me to imagine that line being anything more than a pick em, much less Boise -3.

With the performances we've already had on the road, y'all really think if we played Boise at their place it'd be a pick 'em? I just can't believe that.

I think LSU would be favored by a small margin but AT WORST a pick em. But then again just the opinion of a person who doesn't bet much nor claims to know a lot about it. For all I know the OP is right. I can tell you this, a whole list of hypotheticals here, but if LSU played Boise at Boise and the opening line was Boise -3, how long do you think it would take before that line would move and Boise become the underdog rather the the favorite?

if boise played an SEC schedule they would prolly finish the season with 7 or 8 wins and that is being generous playing tough competition week in and week out wears players down and they would prolly have some significant injuries they play no body LSU would rape them on any feild in the world

Ehh...I wouldn't go that far. They would competitive....might even be good enough to win the East this year. Don't get me wrong, it's impressive what Boise has done in the relative short history of the program, but it makes you wonder what they have done to get there to make kids excited enough to commit and play in Idaho of all places- *cough* "lack of institutional control" *cough*. But then again, I am an LSU fan and it would be naive to think the same things do not happen here. The difference being that we don't dominate inferior competition and then lay claims to being the best. Hey Boise, nut up and play an away game with no guarantee of a return trip to secure a game with an SEC power (I.e Bama, Lsu), join a real conference and win out and then rightfully gain your place among the superpowers. Don't schedule one tough game a year and a boat load of cupcakes and bitch that no one wants to schedule you. If you want respect, you must earn it.

7 or 8 wins is competitive and even saying they schedule one tough game a season is kind of a stretch.. if LSU or Bama or most SEC teams played in the WAC they would prolly go undefeated just about every season playing tough competition week in and week out is crazy tough getting up for one game a season on the other hand isnt i am not saying boise is bad i just dont really believe they are elite i would love to see them play bama or LSU in a bowl this season i think it would get pretty ugly for boise

Hardly anyone talks about Wisconsin but I think that those guys could play with anyone. They have their usual monster front line and pound you into the ground running game...but this year, they also have a top flight QB.

ESPN ran a national questioneer and ask who is the better team.. 70+ % of the nation answered LSU. I doubt LSU will be 9 points underdogs. 9 points underdog is just too far when the two teams are almost identical...

They don't match up well with us on defense and have no depth on their front seven. We'd wear them down in the second half. On offense, they don't have a running game. They'd dink and dunk and get their passing yards, but not many points. It would turn out like WVU and Oregon. They scare me the least of any of the top ranked teams.

Just a question, does it matter when these games are played? Because assuming we play one of these teams at a neutral site(bowl game), lsu/bama will have one loss, ou/okstate will have one loss.

I like wisconsin. The biggest diff i see is on the d. LSU and Bama just have elite players all over the d. Other teams may compare in recruiting stars, but all that matters is what you do on the field.

I'll believe that when I see it. That would be a steal. LSU wins outright or at least only loses by 3 or less.

God I hope this holds up.....I mean lets be real we really shouldn't need any extra motivation for that one.....but from what I can remember when we have been the underdog we have played better especially in those meaningful games.....plus I think it would just piss this team off to hear for 6 straight days how Bama is going to beat them.
