We were basically an expansion team last year and lost by one on a busted play. Not that concerned. We are way better. Double-digit win.

This year will be more like last year’s 4th quarter and less like last year’s 1st half.

-2.5 is still a good sound bet. You might lose but it’s a good line

Yep. FSU is going to score on a gadget play and block two kicks.

Repeat game plan from last year.

They caught a lot of breaks in conjunction with Smith going down with an injury. Smith doesn’t celebrate. LSU wins.

If LSU beats this FSU by double digits then this team should coast to a NC. You're looking at a top 10 best team in the country lock if not top 5. No, it's not over hype. They have many returning great players who performed last year and a top 5 QB in NCAA who shredded LSU last year. Who they added in the portal just piled on to an already talented team. It was the top players at their position groups. They're built to be a playoff team and very likely will win the ACC. Anything less is disappointing for them.

Don't be shocked if these 2 teams are playing again come playoff time.

They feel a lot like we do. Return a lot of key guys and a 5th year QB. Don't expect them to make a lot of mistakes. We'll have to go win this game and I think we do, but it will be scrappy. Travis killed us with his legs last year.

I think I read somewhere that their interior OL is a weakness

If so

We will feast!

If we avoid the mistakes we made last year, Lau will blow the doors off FSU. This will be our statement game.

FSU is really good. It should be a good game and both teams should have great seasons and not be punished for playing one another

It's more important for FSU to win than LSU. That's why I don't think the game matters as much because you could realistically see both teams in the playoff against each other again.

LSU losing gets them more national favor among media due to the SEC. FSU loses it will hurt them due to a weak conference.

Didnt realize they were playoff status.

Seems like they got a bunch of players from the portal on the interior, chemistry issues? The C is 6'3 295

Si thinks they are good and they return the tackles. Could be an issue up the middle for FSU for sure

I view FSU as the 2nd toughest opponent on our schedule.

Jordan Travis is a good QB and may be the best we face all regular season. They have a good RB duo, depth on o-line, solid WR group and very good DE in Jared Verse.

All that being said I like our tigers chances in this game. LSU’s pass rush, containment of Jordan Travis and DB play is going to be key to winning.

LSU 34
FSU 20
