I'm putting a decent amount on -12, but putting down $3250 on the ml to ABSOLUTELY STEAL $500 from the book. I'm also gonna try to find an alternate line, push it up to 20-25, and collect +500 or so on that gift.

Well, he "stole" $500 by betting $3250 on the ml, but probably lost a lot more on betting the line and alternate line. He probably lost a grand or two overall.

Of course if you believe these posts there are a number of "pros" a little lighter in the pockets right now.

You guys will never learn or understand the difference of perception in gambling, Vegas has built an EMPIRE on perception. In Betting the line is whatever the PUBLIC thinks is the best line for them no matter the side. It’s (the line) is low enough for any normal or casual fan to say Bama will kill LSU +12.5 and just high enough for Sharks to take.
Public for instance take Bama -12.5 for 1 mill$
Sharks for instance take LSU +12.5 for 1 mill$
Vegas plus 100,000$ no matter what
If it looks odd or off, go with it
Today Va Tech vs #5 Virginia - line Va Tech-3.5
What??? Va Tech wins by 6
Don’t say I don’t know , I’m a rehabilitated gambler that lost everything I had TWICE,
And when I say everything I mean Wife,Vehicles, Soul, Dignity, and MONEY
Vegas always win PERIOD
I know this post is ridiculously stupid sounding but it’s true and I’m alive and happy today to spew it on you!

Sorry for your loss, I can see where one can get consumed and lose it all “literally”.

I have learned that if it’s a game I would like to bet I usually wait till Halftime and see the flow of the game is going, officiating, etc.

Today i jumped in with 15 minutes to go and took Alabama -9.5, ya I got lucky.

I was sweating for a while, but pregame I ended up putting $900 ml Bama, $900
Bama -3.5, and $700 Bama -9.5. I ended up clearing $836, but that 9.5 had my booty hole puckering as you so aptly put it.

It just shows once again that gambling is very tricky, and you absolutely can't be compulsive while gambling. You also can't bet more than you can comfortably afford to lose. I don't ever want to lose (obviously) but I NEVER risk more than I have disposable.

Still have never bet on a sporting event. Almost did today but result confirms I would suck at it.

Same. Family does a weekly pool type thing for fun. I’m almost always wrong on my sure things.

So you claim that you never bet 2/3 of your pregame brag post (which would have lost), but instead miraculously bet only winning bets, and different amounts.

Sorry, but that is suspect.

If LSU pulled off the upset I guess you would tell us how you bet the over/under instead.

I guess I am lucky that I really never got the fun of gambling. Sure I might put a small wager on a Longshot once in a blue moon, but really the Longshot don't even get the odds they should.

This is true McG, he speaks like a true degenerate gambler, brags on the wins and never mentions the losses, but always and I mean always GHOSTS the Truth.

I COMPLETELY understand your suspicion, but I SWEAR that's what I did pregame.

I kinda got the feeling we might hang with Bama, and decided to just try to "juice up" my odds a bit without going crazy. I figured Vegas knew something I didn't which is usually the case.

My initial reaction when I saw the number released was juice it up to -20, relax, and collect. Thankfully I didn't do that, and got extremely lucky to only go up to -9.5, so I still came out ahead. I have no reason to lie about this, I don't know anybody here personally. And I'm not some pro gambler either. I've lost PLENTY over the years, and won my share too.
