"a power house every year" I am with you Lester, thank God RummelTiger is not the AD, we would be playing University High every Wednesday night while he plays with himself in the shower.

That's the second homoerotic point you've brought up in this thread. Maybe you need to take a look in the mirror and have an honest discussion with yourself.

No, him talking about a man playing with himself.

Funny how you seem to pop-up and back-up your boy shortly after he logs off.

I am watching the Giants beat the crap out of the Redskins while you are most probably in the basement with a bunch of little boys playing checkers. Would you just please go to bed.

rummeltiger,

in my opinion baseball is a little different than football. in footbally you shy away from playing other powerhouses because of the physicallity of the sport. in football obviously the more physical the team the better the team. also your talking about a 12 game season.

in baseball however, if you schedule say a texas in a weekend series early in the year it can only do good for you. you're playing quality competiion and your getting your team experience and the game won't take any more out of your team than it would if you played against Harvard because while important, the game is actually irrellevant. in baseball all you have to do is make the ncaa tournament and your fine.

Thank you "tigerman18", I could not have said that better, its not like 2 or 3 BB players are going to break legs, collar bones, etc. When its over its over and you move on to the next series. Well "rummeltiger" do you agree with us yet?

PS: I will cease the insults and apologize!

tigerman18, good points...

Like I said, from a fan's perspective, I'd like to see us play the UT's of the world all the time.

Hell, all I ever said was that I never thought it was necessary.

Why's everyone ganging up on me!!!

I'm just stirring the pot.
I saw him call you out earlier, an just
wanted to see you man up. your doing alright.

AS far as the original topic, I agree with you.
We play our share of tough O.O.C. opponent's.
I went to the first game of the long beach st.
series a few year's ago.(they took 2 of 3 from us I think)
I't would be nice to see the tiger's more out
west, but i'm lucky to get what I get I guess.

not ganging up on you rummeltiger, i just view my self as very knowing about baseball and thats my view of it.

to me it's good all around. gives the fans what they want, money to the schools, and great experience for the players.

as far as putting college baseball on the map, i think schools like lsu and texas as well as others need to start playing each other more often.
