He's gonna pull a Ellis Wyat per Atlas Shrugged and do one of these numbers:

Why wouldn't he?
The guy is 83 years old and has the spent the last few years focusing on making Oklahoma State a true powerhouse in college football.

You don't make a billion bucks if you have no balls. OSU may be better off winning the Fiesta Bowl than getting demolished in NOLA

If nothing else, hopefully this forces both of them to reveal how they do it. Sagarin is the most confusing IMO.

the fact that an algorithm can be SECRET is an absolute travesty. that = zero accountability.
he could literally change numbers around to fit the $$$ and no one would ever know

I was completely dumb to this until this weekend. No oversight at all. WTF

I admit, I didn't know about that either. It's completely unthinkable that it's allowed to happen

It seems like they would have something put in place after that error was revealed.

This is the same system that says it's okay for ballots to not be released so that no one can question them.
Can't possibly have people own up to their bullshite. Nope!

Here's what doesn't make sense, in espns own poll the vast majority of Americans want to see ok st. If that was case why does everyone believe that espn is purposely trying to create a rematch which would get worse ratings?

I don't understand, do Palm and Edwards have access to the BCS polls before everyone else?
Posted on 12/4/11 at 6:03 pm to fouldeliverer
Polls like that are almost always just an immediate popularity type of thing. LSU/Bama already drew a huge rating, and would be close most of the game more than likely. LSU/OSU might be over by halftime.

ESPN has been pushing Bama from day one. They think they know better and have pushed their agenda enough to pressure voters politically.

good luck in the champsionship and please do the country a favor and kick their asses

This is what really confuses me.
Before the Auburn game weekend where okie st was idle, the sagarin ratings were:
Bama - 98.90
Okie St - 98.03
After that weekend when bama beat then #17 in the elo chess Auburn, it jumped to:
Bama - 99.56
Okie St - 97.18
Then after Okie state beats the #6 team in the elo chess it just goes to
Bama - 99.49
Okie st - 97.81
That just makes no sense at all.
Before the Bama-Auburn weekend, Wolfe was 8.664 to 8.639 Bama. After the Bama win, their lead grew to 8.877 to 8.582. What happened that weekend that OSU was off to hurt their score so badly. If it was simply that ISU lost to OU, why did it not help them at all when they beat OU? Odd stuff.
