Yea, I feel he has proven himself to be wrong too often to trust some "sources" b.s.
I just wish I knew more about the process around releasing the info. I'm trying to decide if it is realistic that it could already be leaked and when does ESPN get it officially. I wonder if there is a room full of people in LA with Dr. Wolfe and one of them messaged people or if it is guarded under lock and key. Guess I'll never know.

I have the strong feeling that Harris is going to be more strongly pro-osu than we're thinking, but it won't matter with the extra computer(s) for Bama.

If the computers are 4 of 6 in favor of Okie State, which they should be, then only 60-65 voters need to place Okie State at #2, out of 115 voters. That number is VERY attainable. This is FAR from over.

If Edwards and ESPN were more privy to information he wouldn't mess up so much earlier in the year. They may have the Harris votes in and know those and he is simply going off "sources" claiming the Wolfe poll has Bama at #2. His "sources" could also be citing the same source to begin with.

How could you possibly know that?

All of the BCS gurus, LSUMATT, Brad Edwards, and Jerry Palm, want to be right. If they let any of their bias get in the way of their facts they risk losing all of their credibility. You can bet everyone of the experts wants to be "right" more than they want "their" team in the BCNSCG.
Nobody wants to pay and "expert" who is usually wrong. Those guys aren't really experts after all, they are just Rantards like us.
Thanks LSUMATT for all of the updates. You seem to really be spot-on with your analysis. Brad Edwards is hit and miss and Jerry Palm can't be figured out at all.

He's been claiming this for over an hour claiming he knows people with bowl connections.
Those are what most people predicted as the bowls when assuming Bama was in, so I don't think he likely knows anything more.
Furthermore, Bowls have their plans on whom to offer spots to based on potential outcomes and only 2 were up for debate. Bama/OSU in the NC and if TCU would sneak into the top 16.

Right but doesn't this only matter if we know both teams that are in?

Well the school may know, but the players don't yet.

This is what I'm thinking as well. A rumor starts, and people start spreading it around. Then somehow people think it is coming from multiple sources, when the origin is just one random guess.
I could see someone looking at the distance between OSU and Bama in the Wolfe and saying "Theres no way OSU passes Bama" and starts a rumor saying it's done without actually knowing any facts. Just going off speculation. Now that person could be right. but they could also be wrong.
