These are college athletes. The time will have zero effect on them.
The actual good news is that UCLA doesn’t really have any clue who Jay will throw now so they either prepare for 3-4 possible arms or walk in blindly

Do the right thing by having us resume later in the day on proper rest. Revamp the schedule and move one game scheduled for tomorrow to Wednesday. Adjust the rest accordingly. Tournaments do this literally all the time.
NCAA is too stupid and lazy to do that tho.

And you imagine that in the 5 or 6 days that UCLA has been there that they haven’t managed to adjust to the whopping two hour time difference by now? The program that spent its conference season flying to the east coast and back regularly?

UCLA is mildly at a disadvantaged because of this no doubt
But it's negated due them having the weather chase an All-American pitcher while they were already rolling out there bullpen guys
