Anyone else think we might see the old school Gold for these unis? Gold helmet with purple stripe, purple jersey, gold pants? Not yellow, gold.

Looking at it and moving my screen 10 different angles I think it's Gold helmet, gold jersey with purple numbers, white pants. So pretty much GT's jerseys but purple instead of navy for the numbers. like this:

I believe the helmet will be gold and have a purple face mask. I am also thinking the jersey will be gold, white pants, and purple and white cleats with gold laces.
What kind of little accents and designs they add is up in the air, but like some other people have said I have a feeling they will put some sort of tiger stripe in there.
I also could be completely wrong, so who knows.
Can't wait to see these things on the field.
On a related note, how much do you think the lightness of these new uniforms will affect game speed if at all? Will Trindon be a blur to our naked eye?

the helmets will be circa 1958 if its any indication of the rest of the unis so far with this retro stuff. I hope they fix us up like fsu or tcu and come up with somethig crazy. gold pants with faded tiger stripes on them with the old school lsu print logo in the corner. white jerseys kinda like texas and our 1958 helmets is what i'm hoping for

I think LSU is 4th from the right. Florida is in the middle. It looks like our cleats are purple with gold laces. The helmet is a darker color with a white stripe down the middle. The pants may be white, not sure, but they are definitely lighter that the jersey.
