The Boatyard is pretty good. Stay away from the "tourist" restaurants!

I don't know about crawfish or shrimp, but Shula's in New Orleans has a Crabmeat Mac & Cheese that is amazing!

The band is performing on New Year's Eve at Universal Studios at 3 pm.

This is off my email from the Florida Citrus office:

Ticket prices for Universal/Blue Man Group are:

$59 – 1 day, 1 park – save over $25 from the front gate price
$76 – 1 day, 2 park – save over $30 from the front gate price
$85 – 2 day, 2 park – save over $42 from the front gate price
$63 – Blue Man Group – save $21 from the Box Office price
*they’ll get a voucher and choose what show they’d like to attend
**this ticket will NOT get them into the New Years Eve Tailgate

ask if they will be attending the New Years Eve Tailgate event (12/31 – 7pm-11pm, a private Capital One Bowl VIP Tailgate party with happy hour prices, interactive games, discounted game day food and football game viewing on large screens). If they are, write that on the form so we know to send them a wrist band (this is very important). The tailgate is located at Universal Studio’s Classic Monsters Café and they must have a wrist band to attend.
Tickets are good December 21th – January 4th
Iowa/Penn States’s marching band will be performing on 12/31 and 2pm and LSU’s marching band will perform 12/31 at 3pm
The tickets are good for Islands of Adventure or Universal studios, but the NYE event and marching band performances will be at Universal Studios ONLY
Tickets will be mailed out thru FedEx, we can NOT send to a PO Box
$10 per order for shipping and handling

We bought ours through ticketmaster, but I'm sure it's too late to order them through there. Call the office and ask for Tina, she's who helped me. The page also said that you can buy them at the team headquarter hotels. Just be sure you get the wristband too!

If you purchase Universal Studios tickets through Capital One for $59, you get a wrist band that lets you enter Capital One's VIP tailgate at Cafe Monster from 7-11

good question, I have no idea. I spoke with the Lady at the Capital One office a couple of times but never thought of asking where in the park. I guess she'll be getting a phone call Monday morning, haha.
