I say while I don't always agree with certain traditions, it's what makes Tiger Stadium feared by ever single team in college.

You think the two are mutually exclusive? Tiger Stadium is feared for its volume and intensity, not for its vulgarity. Instead of wasting your vocal chords with retarded fricking chants, why not save your stamina for the critical goal-line stand with a minute left in the 4th quarter when the team NEEDS the crowd to be electric?
It makes no sense to me... most of the time when our team is on defense, the stadium doesn't even open its mouth until the ball has already been snapped.
And it REALLY pisses me off when people try to do shite that actually detracts from the game.

About twenty years ago, my eight year old son was given a pom pom before an LSU game. I promply took it from him, broke it in half, threw it in the trash can, whipped him then told him real Tiger men don't need a pom pom.
He's twenty-eight now and everytime he sees a over-weight, bald headed Auburn or Alabama middle aged man shaking a pom pom , he thanks me for the lesson I gave him many years ago.
