Cotton is carried by fox and Capital One is carried by ABC/ESPN whatever you call it now.

I wouldn't think that the Cap One Bowl will want us two years in a row.

Its Fox Only Bowl game. I am telling ya outside of Texas and Louisiana NOBODY will be watching. However a noon time game ON new Years day will draw a shitload of viewers from across the county, LSU-MSU will be the best matchup at the noon timeslot.

Were you there last year? No? Here's some advice: Take raincoats, sweaters, gloves, umbrellas, galoshes and a .45 (for protection going through the neighborhood where the stadium is located).

Ironically, if it happens (LSU-Mich St), it would pit the losers of the last two Cap One games.

Cap 1 bowl sux. After last year I will never go back. LSU should boycott that shite hole. The field condition last year was a total abomination!
Even if they did put in field turf the stadium still sux.

Forget the weather gear, I've lived here for years and that's the worst single weather day I've ever experienced aside of a coupla CAT 3 hurricanes. Chances of that perfect storm weather happening again are pretty near zero.

But the .45? shite yes, come packing, maybe you can take out a couple drunk, fat Spartys if they get too obnoxious.

FYI: Bus shuttles'll take you from the Amway Arena to the stadium, so you don't have to park in the hood. On the other hand, it's easier to cop dope in the hood than in the parking lot of the Amway Arena.

Cap 1 bowl won't pass a top 10 matchup. Cap one bowl it is..

Well, what if South Carolina beats Auburn? Then they have a higher ranked Arkansas team to choose instead.

Then it would be Arkie = Cap one
Bama to Cotton
LSU to Outback.

LSU could be better off NOT playing the Aggies: hot team, playing in their home state, first chance for 10 win season in a long time, very motivated to win, etc.

Yes, by all means, insert tail between legs and run from Dallas like a scalded dog.

I'll take the Tigers and a month to practice vs any top ten team on a neutral field.

Don't be a pussy.

I requested Cotton Bowl tix but not Cap. One Mud Bowl because I do not want to spend the money to fly to Orlando. Call me selfish but I would rather drive to Dallas and see the indoor Jerry's World for the first time. I read there were 15,000 Cotton Bowl requests to only 10,000 Cap. One Mud Bowl. Money talks so lets start telling Aggie jokes and go to the Cotton Bowl.

did you hear the one about the 19th ranked aggie that was incredibly motivated that beat the 10th ranked tiger, causing him to finish 16th in the final coaches poll and starting the 2011 regular season ranked well out of the top 10 preseason ?

I think most 'experts' predict us going to Capitol One. Most idiots on this board predict us going to the Cotton. Nobody outside of the boundaries of Louisiana has us going to the Cotton Bow

Don't know if the Houston Chronicle's sports writers are experts but they are outside of LA. Just sayin.

I hope it's the Crap One for selfish reasons, but still, isn't it unusual for a team to make consecutive appearances in a "non-binding" bowl?

'Course, Tennessee seemed to play here for like 5 years in a row a couple years back.
I may be making this up completely, but I would guess Wisky has played there back to back SEVERAL times in the past 2 decades
