If OK beats TTech,Texas may be the highest BCS ranked team based on their head to head victory over OK.If thats the case and we go to Cotton strap it on and chase the techsters for 6-7 hundred yards of pure hell.

Odds look very good for a trip to the Cotton Bowl, so much so that I bought my tickets today.

Tickets shouldn't be too tough to get. Both Texas and LSU had higher hopes this season than the Cotton Bowl. You'll likely have some people who won't go out of sheer disappointment. When UT went to the Holiday Bowl last year in San Diego, we had a very poor fan showing, the worst I think I've ever seen at a bowl game.

Out of Texas, Texas Tech, OSU, and OU; I think that we have the best chance of beating Texas. Plus could be a HUGE gain in recruiting.

If Texas wins out, rest assured you would not be seeing us in the Cotton Bowl.
Worst case scenario is that we get an at-large spot in a BCS Bowl.
Now if we drop a game between here and the bowl selections, then it becomes a possibility.

I think we lose to Ole Miss or Arky and end up in a lesser bowl. I think we go 8-5 this year unless we get our other QB back or Jefferson steps up.

Big 12 is going to have two teams in a BCS Bowl.
If Texas Tech beats Oklahoma then OU has two loses. Texas and Texas Tech go to a BCS while OU is going to the Cotton.
Now, if OU beats Texas Tech then both OU and Texas are going to the BCS bowl and Texas Tech will go to the cotton bowl. Texas and OU will both pass Tech in the BCS rankings.
The only way Texas is going to the cotton bowl is if they lose to Kanas or Texas A&M.
