No offense! You 5 batters in the line up who are no threat to put the ball into play!! None!!Plus coaching has a lot to do with it.

I think Torina needs to move another direction, and that means complete overhaul in offensive philosophy

I don't care how phenomenal the pitching is, the performances at the plate are unacceptable, especially for a school like LSU. So much talent is wasted

hitters look confused and unsure of themselves at the plate vs any pitcher who throws a strike or in some cases, balls in the other batters box.

LSU has been on a steady decline for the last 3 year on offense.

(new hitting instructor)

Downvote all you want, and I'm a torina pumper. I like Dobson but the offense has been a complete mess these last two years with no apparent adjustments or improvements

Dude, are you paying attention at all? Their hitting looks like a 3 year old t-ball game, ffs.

And next year? Once Wall and Hoover are gone, and we don't have that kind of pitching and any hitting, what will we be?

This man can teach hitting. Can someone implement his technique and philosophy?

Torina has taken this team to OKC three years in a row.

The blame falls squarely on Dobson.

However, if this continues next season and Beth does nothing, then she’ll be starting down the road Les Miles walked down.

To quote Torina "all we have to do is score one more run then our opponent." Yeah Beth, sounds easier than it actually is. At least for your team.

I admit, he's got me a little gun shy with what went down with his ouster at UL. I'd be a little skittish hiring him as hitting coach.

But hell yeah, put him on the payroll as a hitting consultant.

Basically a useless quote and it obviously doesn’t really tell the story of this season. Since the start of SEC play, I’m fairly certain LSU has considerably more extra innings than most and only a couple of run rule shortened games. Most innings pitched are under stress because we don’t have a lead. Not getting younger pitchers the innings you otherwise could with offensive production. Defense playing tight because errors are magnified. Combine that with struggles behind the plate and it makes for a long grueling season, even before reaching post season.

Hopefully you & Tigerbait saw the game this afternoon from Lafayette: it was the worst officiating behind the plate. Very tough for hitters to hit outside the plate called strikes.
