Its been amazing how far they got the past couple years with below average offensive production. Our women's softball took a page from the '11 & '12 football team.

They beat a pitcher who was undefeated. That pitcher is now 10-1. Corbello is now 6-2.

Big AB by Falcon in the 6th. Shades of Blaire Barbier against Stanford, worked it 14 pitches and got the HR to wake everybody up.
Very good weekend 4 wins, got good amount of hits every game, and the pitchers cut down the walks.

I think we just need to develop consistency offensively. We can explode for many runs at anytime but we looked much much better this weekend. Its only going to get better! The score going into the 7th against Oregon was 2-1. They hit a 2 run bomb but all game we got players in scoring position. We just couldn't get that timely hit. But that Washington game showed we can play power ball with anyone in the country but this was an outstanding weekend!!
