You taking anything Mendoza says as decent opinion makes me better understand your lack of intelligence with this game.

You can have solid hitters on the bench but I mean they are on the bench for a reason. Its difficult to just step into a game every blue moon and just hit consistently. People don't realize how much experience matters. Its everything on a college level.

I have heard and seen that statement ring true from baseball to softball. Case in point, SS at LSU right now.
I simply mentioned it coming from her because she said it on the broadcast. I am not particularly a fan of her nor Smitty's commentating. I find myself watching games on mute more and more these days.

Did Kreamer play any this year? I think she went to Washington out of Evangel, but can't remember when. Not sure if she had to sit out this year because of the transfer or not?

She did play. She went to UW, then to ULL for a fall semester then landed in Baton Rouge. She sat out last season and the fall of this past season.

I have been able to actually watch a lot of the practices. I have seen both Kraemer and Jaquish many times. There are really about equal defensively, they both make mistakes here and there. So if they are about the same, you might as well keep Jaquish because of what she brings offensively. Now I have talked with a few people within the program, there will be shuffling and experimenting going on all next fall. Mainly within the infield. I think SS is the most painful point on the field for us. Bell is slow to react to the ball and she has way too many WTF moments. I don't see Torina DH a 3 year starter, its unlikely. I would say slide Bell to 2nd. Leave SS up for grabs for the freshman to win.
As for 3B, Jaquish and Kloss can go back to DH and Catching and let 3B be up for grabs. Serrett would probably be best at SS, I don't know if Torina wants Sanchez to be at 3rd. They will see what works. I trust the staff. That's if they want to make a change at 3B.

Very impressive season. I didn't get to see a ton until end of the season, but watched a ton of post season softball and noticed two things I wanted to ask about related to off speed pitching and hitting.
First, I noticed that a few pitchers had great off speed stuff that kept our batters and others guessing time after time. Seems like we need big time work on hitting the change up.
Second, it seemed like our pitchers primarily relied on speed and movement, which was great. But, in yesterday's game in particular, it seemed like the MI batters were sitting on the fastball all day, and we didn't throw much off speed stuff. Although not many batters could catch up, they seemed like they grooved into our pitching speed. Do we have a pitcher or two with a great change up?
