LSU-E has won their world series, multiple times, even recently… i think it is the junior college world series… baseball just be freakin good down here… my american legion team here in br, comet distributors, c league, went 38-0 the year when i became too old, birthday on dec. 29, two days too old… team was loaded… i believe they could have moved up at least one level and been just as destructive… but… 55-0!… geaux all the way!!!!!…

Loyola New Orleans now playing... 0-0 top 2nd with the Wolf Pack batting

Best-of-luck to Loyola. Somebody said they were in the other bracket, so here's hoping for an all-Louisiana championship round.

Of course, if that happens then the "repressed hatred" between North Louisiana and South Louisiana will probably explode on the board. ,

Just kidding (I think).

PS - Without looking at the bracket, I don't understand how it works for 10 teams to be in the field. AFAIK, there were no first round byes.

The NAIA World Series bracket is a very weird bracket

And if they both win... it looks like the soonest they could play each other in what amounts to a quarterfinal

I wonder how they’d do against LSU for a three game series?

They would lose all 3. They are good, but not SEC level good.

It appears to me that the strength of LSU- S is their pitching staff. Good hitting too, though. My guess is they would probably do as well or better against LSU as most of the smaller D-1 schools in Louisiana, but who knows?

Loyola down 4-0 in the top of the 6th... Wolf Pack batting

In fact... Loyola still without a hit through 5.1 IP

Not to say they haven't had base runners... the Wolf Pack have drawn 5 walks

By all accounts, Loyola had a tough 1st game draw. I was reading up on the teams, and Tennessee Wesleyan appears to be loaded.

We need some of their pitchers and designated hitters.

Some great all around play by LSUS, especially defensively
