nothing.
I was just having a little fun at your expense.
We said that we would run the ball up and down the field against florida too. I think we all know how that went. Bottom line-game is played on the field. I think Georgia is overrated, and we're kind of in a rebuilding/transation phase. However, some folks around here have unrealistic expecations. I mean how can you get destroyed by florida, beat an okay south carolina team, and assume we are just going to roll Georgia. Tigers win 24-21 due to home field advantage. The fans will be the MVP of this game.

I totally agree. LSU always seems to inspire the best from its opponents. Part of that is that LSU has consistently been in the top 10 for the last few years. This year, everyone wants to perform against last years NC.
Hopefully LSU will be inspired by the beat down they got in Athens a few years ago.
Clearly, LSU is going to have to stuff Moreno, avoid turn-overs, and hope the offense can do just enough.

Pounding O-Line
Guys, there is no reason that this years o-line shouldn't be beating their opponents senseless. They are big, mobile, and experienced. But guess what.
They have been soft so far.
Some of that is a result of Miles/Crowton relying heavily upon the passing game. In Columbia, LSUs first five plays included four passing plays. That kind of play calling wont inspire your o-line to knock heads.

Jacksimmons..
i would say that Moreno is not the biggest concern...UGA relies on Big passes to Green to get them going...i do not believe they are consistent enough (penalties especially) to drive the ball on 10-12 play drives without screwing up...in the Bama game they constantly tried to hit big pass plays and they were picked/dropped...we made them drive and they self-destructed...Moreno can have some runs but stopping the big pass I believe is the key

Let me know when you decide on what point you want to make.
I was addressing your first one about running and UGA's DL being "soft".
And in the Alabama game, our run D wasn't the problem. We held them almost 100 yards below their average. Coffee averaged 3.7 yds/carry.
You don't appear to have any clue what you are talking about.

Georgia has played exactly 1 team who can run the ball well (Alabama) and gave up 129 yards and 4 TDs on the ground to them. Georgia has also given up 114 yards rushing to Vanderbilt and 102 yards and 2 TD rushing to Georgia Southern.

They spent half the game running the ball because they had such a huge lead and were just trying to run the clock out. Not hard to stop someone when you know what's coming.

That would explain a lower average per carry... but it wouldn't explain having 100 yards less than their game average (if anything it would suggest the opposite given many more running plays).
Run defense wasn't Georgia's problem against Alabama. And even if it was, we are 7 games into the season, and Georgia has given up the 3rd fewest rushing yards in the country. The guy seriously is making the point that that is entirely explained by weak opponents. You know, because Tulane, Kentucky, Western Kentucky, etc. have great running games. What a dumb argument.

I haven't watched Georgia closely enough to know how good Moreno is. I know he has run for a lot of yards...but that doesn't always tell the whole story.
Georgia's o-line is not that great. If LSU's d-line plays like the did in the second half of the Carolina game, Georgia might have a tough time. But LSU has hardly been the picture of consistency this year. Auburn, Miss St., Florida all put up big numbers against this defense.
