The LSU set piece has really been struggling today. Another stolen lineout and quick penalty committed by LSU. Baylor kicking for points, Kick off the posts, bounces in.
22-15 Tiger lead.
Make or break time for Tigers. Lineout to LSU on the Baylor 40.
LSU cannot find the support on a break down the sideline, eventual knockon. Scrum to Baylor.

Baylor kicking for points to make a 4 point game. And the kick is good.
LSU 22 Baylor 18 10 minutes to play.

And another yellow card from the side judge.
LSU will be down a man for potentially the rest of the match.
Try Baylor... conversion good.
LSU is giving the game away and Baylor is taking it.

Another fricking knockon by LSU when they had Baylor on the back foot.

Ball stolen in the tackle. Ballgame. Baylor wins 25-22.
Wow, I don't think I've seen an LSU team play a worse match. They looked like a B-side out there at time with the unforced errors and stupid penalties. Now LSU will have to sweat it out for a spot in the playoffs with Baylor winning the automatic bid.

Well, the Tigers unfortunately failed to meet their own lofty expectations this season. With the loss to Baylor, LSU will likely miss out/ decline a bid for the upcoming playoffs. If they did receive a bid, they would likely have to go on the road to play Life or St. Mary's during Easter weekend. (For those that don't follow rugby, a comparable matchup would be McNeese playing LSU in football.) With finals coming up, the team will look to refocus the team towards 7's competition.
It's not all doom and gloom for the Tiger ruggers. The post season accolades are coming in for LSU. All-in-all LSU put 11 players on all-conference teams and had the conference player of the year. 5 Tigers were named to Red River All-Conference 1st team, 4 more made the second team, and 2 were honorable mention. LSU's captain Brennan Falcon was named as the Red River Rugby Player of the Year.
1st Team:
Hooker: Hunter Breit
Lock: Zack Stratton
Flanker: Brennan Falcon (Player of the Year)
Wing: Trevor O'Neal
Fullback: Cameron Troxler
2nd Team:
Flanker: Joe Ruocco
Eight Man: Todd Dupre
Fly Half: John Crilly
Wing: Alec Miller
Honorable Mention (3rd Team):
Lock: Andy Mullens
Scrum Half: Mike Lloyd
