Don’t get me wrong, I think we’re in a very good spot. But if the point of the thread is for you to address areas of concern people bring up, I don’t think saying “the coaches have mentioned this player’s name in a positive manner” is really offering any sort of substantive response to their concern.

I'm fairly certain they are just as afraid of us if not more so. Should be interesting.

Fair enough, but when we haven't seen any spring practice, I am using the current roster, talent, coaching, and proof of play last season to prove the concerns will be met with more great players and scheme. I trust this coaching staff more than any other in our past!

Wow.... I love the positive vibe, but you are just being a little overboard........

Myles is still a project and every team we plays knows this...... the rbs’ are unproven.

We will just have to see what happens on the field. Can this team repeat????? Yes it can because we are loaded with talent. But it still takes great execution and a lot of fortunate bounces your way for that to happen.

Bama's defense will be SIGNIFICANTLY better this season

FACT

great defense, great running game, mediocre quarterback. That is the Bama recipe for success.

A big question mark at QB. Not trying to diss Brennan, but he must be very effective for the LSU offense to score points. I think the defense will be better this year.

Uhhh, did you not read the title?? The whole point was to explain why we repeat. Hard, yes. Possible, definitely!

I believe LSU's defense will be much better this season as well. We struggled a lot with tackling, injuries, and discipline. We turned it around come postseason, but i believe the defense is what gives us a shot this season even with the offense taking a step back statistically!

And dont expect Stingley to blow two cheap TD's to Smith this time around ;)

I think we will be better on defense but offense might need some time to develop the chemistry it takes to win it all. 2021 i am ridin

As far as a slot receiver, ever heard of Trey Palmer or Kayshon Boutte?? Coaches are raving about those two along with Racey McMath (who might actually be winning the competition for 3rd receiver).

None are proven and JJ is/was arguably better and more clutch than Jarvis Landry. Slot receiver is an area of concern as experience and proven talent has yet to be shown.

JJ was unproven too guy! And I'll take the unproven 5-stars to replace an unproven 2-star. I like the odds!
