He's already shown it. He hired chief. I thought the Kragthorpe hire was a good one but his disease hit. Everyone doubted him on the next hire and he brought in Cam which everyone loved at the time. I think until he shows us otherwise I think he's earned the benefit of the doubt as far as hiring assistants. There are other areas where I have no faith in him at all but hiring help is not one of those.

ill lose my mind if its steele. he couldnt even handle the DC job at bama and that was with saban standing right next to him telling him what to do. then he went to clemson for three years and couldnt get another DC job when he left.

Looking at Steeles resume, I think he'd do great at LSU. I'd rather have CP but Steele is still better than Chavis' lard arse.
