You are the typical RANTER, probably have never heard of this guy before today, yet know for sure within 10 minutes of seeing his name on the internet that he's a home run hire.
Don't even pretend to know me. You know nothing.

So your saying there's a chance?

That's because he's lying his arse off.

In no way am I suggesting that. In fact, I state that the man's resume speaks for itself. You don't get to where he's at by being an arse.
However, he is and will always be the bad guy at LSU unless we're winning every single game. He's the figure-head, so it's part of his job to take it. But I do not know him personally so it is not my position to judge a man at his job when I've never worked with him.
I suggest others remember that this is a man that is doing his job. Very few know him, so please, at least, give him the benefit of the doubt.
You have to remember, he's the one that helped make the Cameron hire happen. We all praised him at that point in time. It's a tough job and a lot is going on that we have no idea about.

I wouldn't call it reactionary. I would call it fiscally responsible/conservative.

From your link." Coaching is coaching and teaching is teaching. Whether it's college or the NFL, I've always enjoyed developing the younger players. And I can't wait to get back to it." Might get a coach who will coach. Well damn there goes TR
I sure find something else to bitch about.

So yall getting Muschamp?

I guess I would just rather look for alternative ways to squeeze the budget than on the back of the lifeblood of the revenue generator.

This would be huge. We may not get Coach O if brick stays, but this could save us on recruiting.

I guess that's one way to look at it. But it hasn't been done for one reason or another. It's not just Alleva. Other ADs wouldn't spend the money either.

Chavis never allowed more than 44 points at LSU and opponents reached 40 points only twice.
that's why i don't get the idiots saying "frick chavis, he's overrated," etc.
He is an elite DC

There are 2-3 redshirts that fit the bill now.

If we want Coach O on the staff and Brick has given no indication of following Chief, then possibly Coach O as LB coach (or make him and Brick co-front7 coaches). There was talk that O was going to be working with the team in the summer anyway, and we're now short a LB coach.
All that assuming that IF Pendergast is coming, that he would approve. I'm guessing he's more amenable to O than Brick.

You think there's going to be positive movement to start spending?
