Of course Casey Franz is in a tap dancing troupe...

I found his Facebook page in about 5 seconds.

It will be private before day's end.

I'm not posting the link.

He will once again cause problems for this football team by sending this video to the police.

Again, unless the guy walked away saying "I'm getting in my car to go murder your mama" Hill deserves punishment. Apparently, they had already beaten the guy's arse. Leave at at that. To hit the guy again when he's walking away deserves to be treated as a criminal act.

According to the article that Connor dude said he got hit 2 or 3 times. I don't know where you are getting that they already beat his arse.

How do you know he was not running his mouth the whole time he was walking off? You don't know the facts so it's hard for anyone to defend any actions at this point

What kind of warped view do you have on fighting? When does "running your mouth" justify a sucker punch?

Today's "men". They see something that they think is wrong and instead of attempting to confront the perpetrator or aid the person in need they take out their phone hide in the corner and press record.

That video will do more damage to those responsible than intervening and getting your arse kicked too ever will.

Or he could have not been a wuss and prevented him from getting his arse beat in the first place.

But you said he deserved it? and if they aren't friends why would he want to endanger himself by getting involved?

The Franz kid did nothing wrong.

Yes.

Instead of educating our student athletes on how to avoid trouble, we should instead educate the 30k or so students at LSU on how to avoid provoking our student athletes into knocking them unconscious. We'll also need to educate any other young people who aren't LSU students that might enter a bar near campus. Maybe a required class you have to attend before you are allowed to enter Reggie's, Shady's and the like.

I think this is an excellent solution to the problem at hand.

Team Sweep is on it.

Band of brothers. Rent it sometime.

Stand for what's right don't be a pushover. Also don't snitch when you were too much of a woman to intervene.

I don't know if he did the right thing but these days you have to assume *somebody* is going to whip out the cell phone and shoot some video or take some pics.

The fact that this made news and got a player suspended is so damn stupid.

Not condoning the act, but going to the cops is just a waste of LE and DA time.

There is no justification, except that he's a potential all-American and we can't have him taken off our team, so dude must have called him the "N" word or something.

And if he in fact did, that will be of no relevance. It's still America and you have the right to say whatever you want. Calling someone every racist, sexist, rude, crude word in the English language does not warrant nor justify assault. Maybe, MAYBE, If the guy said, "I'm going get my gun out of my car to smoke your arse", he could hide behind self defense but that would be a threat, not an insulting phrase. Words still don't physically cause harm to the people they were spoken against.

Now morally, people may think he got what he deserved, but to get technical, insults do no warrant violence.

It most certainly can justify assault.

But when your a highly talented athlete, you have a lot more to lose than the other guy does.
