Yeah, only thing is that this incident doesn't have much to do with the prior one.
Now if he got arrested for some sexual misconduct then yeah.
I think a judge just extends his probation and he misses the season opener.

the deal he got for the lesser charge that put him on probation was contingent on keeping his nose clean. Something like this could invalidate that plea and he could then be facing the ORIGINAL charge in the sexual incident, coupled with this. If that happens, he wont play another down for LSU.
He's like Lucky Ned Pepper: he needs a good judge.

I think he needs to miss some Games and that is because this has happened the last 3 years running and it is getting old with all these top notch Players being in trouble. What has happened to Players Policing each other/. That is the way they used to do it and that worked.
It is time for this mess to come to an end. It is a reflection upon Head Coach Les Miles and his Coaching Staff to make sure this does not happen. I have always supported and given Les Miles the benefit of the doubt but, now this has gone too far and it needs to stop now. I believe this Team is split between those that have their mess off the Field and those who want that to end the off Field mess and get back to the Field. If Les can not put a stop to those who do not want to Play for Real he needs to give them riot act of LSU Football. He needs to tell them they either stop with the off Field mess or hit the road and go somewhere were they will allow them to get arrested and Play if they can. LSU has too much to loose to allow this to keep on happening and it is Les Miles responsibility to see that it stops and now!

doesnt matter. The terms of the plea are discharging correctly your probationary period. failure to do so, such as being picked up for assault, nullifies the earlier charge. Even if they aren;t about the same thing (sexual misconduct).

I does not invalidate a previous plea and under the current law he would have been guilty of a misdemeanor
In that the accused must be more then 4 years older then the victim .
He can plea at arraignment and pay a fine but arraignment will not be till June at the earliest !

yeah, something along these lines. judge will prolly tighten the screws on the current probation.
i'm guessing he'll miss a game or two as well (as long as he completes whatever bleacher/stadium program Les has him undertake).

Odd that such a learned legal scholar cant even get the charge right.

I mean, it's SIMPLE BATTERY
It's the same as me pushing someone.
Due to the circumstances of racial slurs being thrown around, I think this will blow over for Hill

The charge for now is that it is a Misdemeanor and not a felony. The other thing that ways against him is that he could not break the demands of his probation could mean the difference whether he gets to Play anymore or not. This is key what Hillar More said;
It is going to be a hit or miss if it goes back to Jackson to hear the new case or not. We will have to wait and see. What I have highlighted is the key to everything with JH. All I know is this kind of mess has to stop before it gets any worse.
quote:
East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore III said Saturday that based on what he knows about the incident, he is not sure if Hill violated the terms of his probation.
“If there is a new criminal violation that he is found guilty of or if there is some violation of the probation that was imposed, it could have an impact of his sentence,” Moore said.
Moore said that on Monday, State District Judge Bonnie Jackson will be notified of Hill’s arrest and will decide whether to call him in for a hearing.
Jackson could possibly change the conditions of Hill’s probation or wait until more facts become available, Moore said.
“It’s a standard condition that you not violate any criminal law while you’re on probation,” Moore said.
Moore added, “He could be innocent, and you can’t violate it if you’re innocent.”

Exactly. The guy got "knocked out" yet 15 min later was whining to the police that the mean football players beat him up. By all accounts no matter what the circumstances were hill didnt even do the finishing move. This time its a 20 year old frat dude not a recently commissioned marine wearing street clothes so Douchet is unable to pull on the nations heart strings with this one. The kid aint in the ICU and sounds like he had it coming, this will all go away (at least for Hill) in a matter of weeks.

What is it with LSU students getting in fights with football players?
They will stomp on you and you will probably have the entire school ticked off at you for getting them in trouble. Just walk away
