Yes 7 sec teams n the top 25

8 teams

Alabama
Lsu
Georgia
Florida
Miss St.
Auburn
Arkansas
S. Carolina

We play 5 of them plus Oregon and possibly WVU later in the season and then if we make it to the SECCG UGA or USCe will more than likely be ranked.

It's gonna be hell but it should be fun to watch.

That about sums them up for me too

Last time LSU started off #4 we played a team from Oregon week 1.

Stanford (maybe)
Ohio State (get ready for the plummet)
Notre Dame (a bit premature right now)
Florida (unproven QB and coach - possibly)

Couldn't tell you the others should replace them, but doubt these 4

They want respect then they should go to a conference that has an auto BCS bid. Like TCU did!

Come on Broncos! They remind me of the big shot of a small town in the midwest. They are the biggest deal in that town but once they head to a real big city, no one cares about them anymore and they become just another person.

Boise State is too scared to try and see if they could compete with REAL teams and not just Nevada once every 4 years when the Wolfpac are actually good.

If you go back and look say over about the last 10 years you will find that FSU is consistantly overrated in the pre-season polls. I think they've finished as high as there preseaon ranking maybe once in 10 years. They are the ultimate preseason "HYPE" program.

We play 2 of the top 3...we control our own destiny (in regard to BCSNC) from day 1

No Boise/TCU crap this year!!!

There are some major phonies in the top ten....

Stanford - new coach, no way they win 11 games

Have you looked at Stanford's schedule? No Utah or ASU on there conference schedule. They have one tough stretch in the schedule and it's late in the season.

Sept 3 vsSan Jose State ---Win
Sept 10 @Duke -- Win
Sept 17 @Arizona - Should be a Win
Oct 1 vs UCLA - Should be a Win
Oct 8 vsColorado - Win
Oct 15 @Washington State -- Win
Oct 22 vsWashington -- WA may surprise people but it's at Stanford -- Win
Oct 29 @USC 8:00 PM First toss up and it's at USC one week after WA
Nov 5 @Oregon State - Beavs are tough at home, still Stan should be favored
Nov 12 vs Oregon - Toughest game is at Stanford
Nov 19 vs California - Rival game at home
Nov 26 vs Notre Dame - Bye week going into bowl season (yea I don't think much of ND, bunch fo cowards ever since they played for a tie against Oregon)

How in the world is Auburn ranked ahead of Miss. St. I know State is not a world beater by any means but they are definitely a pretty good team now and Auburn lost everything. I look for Auburn to be competitive in most games but to lose a lot of them.

Thanks, looks like FSU was over rated 15 of the last 20 years.

Besides LM. No clue

I'm guessing Miles and Pellini - Nebraska doesn't have a #1 vote.
