Ah, fair enough. Other than ND, they've lost to the highest ranked team of those ahead of them right? And they have a higher SOS and SOR. They are in fine position to control everything, but I think they are better than a few one loss teams ranked higher.

I can't argue with you there. I think they have some ugly losses more than just Vandy. They struggled with East Carolina and Kentucky. Failed to put away USCe.
We can both be right.
Edit: to be fair, you could easily put them in front of Oklahoma, based on best loss.

I doubt lsu wins out so them and the big6 bowls are out of the question. But for some reason they do win out. Facing Baylor in the sugar bowl would be sweet.

Problem is, we probably won't win out. I honestly don't know what team shows up Saturday. If the team that got rolled by Arkansas shows up, we are in for a long night. If the team that fought against Florida shows up we have a chance.
Just don't see consistency with this team and consistency is what championship teams possess.

We lose to Bama in the road and drop 7 spots, then we get pounded by a four loss Arky team at home and only drop 6 spots... That makes no freaking sense.

We'd still make a NY6 bowl under this scenario, so it wouldn't be all that bad.
