LSU Players Trash Talk

Probably my favorite player on the team, Ja'Marr Chase, posted an IG photo targeted at OU CB Parnell Motley. He even tagged Motley in the photo.

I know some will say this is "soft" but I dont really like seeing stuff like this from Chase (or the other players for that matter). I think trash talk before the game is one thing but targeting guys on social media after the game is over is a poor look. I hope the team does not start getting overconfident because I have started to see more verbal and digital jabbing and despite how dominant we have been, any team can be beaten especially if you get complacent.

The thing I’ve appreciated most about this team is they’ve been consistent with their approach throughout the season. They are loose, focused, have tons of fun and if you violate they demonstrate.

You didn’t play so you have no idea what went on. Motley and Chase were in each other’s face all game. No doubt he was talking A LOT, so Chase decided to let him know about it

Regardless of what went on the game is over. LSU won by 40 and JaMarr is still the Biletnikoff winner and a future 1st round pick. No need to get on social media and talk mess.

I wouldn't want to do anything to change the team's psych at this point of the season. I loved what Chaisson did on the sidelines too- keeping the team focused and nothing stupid!

If you wanna talk shite before the game go right ahead. I still dont usually think its the best idea but I see that as different than blowing a team out then disrespecting them afterwards. There is something less classy in my opinion about beating the shite out of a team then adding insult to injury afterwards as opposed to talking shite before and then playing the game and showing respect or keeping your mouth shut afterward.

OU players were up in our players' faces talking shite even when they were behind in the game. So they can deal with the replies after the fact.

Chase is definitely a first round pick, if he came out this year. Saying he might not be bc of injuries, goes for everyone in football almost.

Why do they need to show respect? It’s big boy football and OU got wrecked. They took cheap shots all night and talked equal to if not more than LSU.

But he can’t come out this year so that’s a moot point... I mean everyone can have injuries.. but theirs the sprain injuries and the chad jones type that they can’t play again. You just simply can’t say IS a first round pick because he’s not eligible and could get hurt. Remember when tua was a lock for the 1st pick?? Ohhh wait he got hurt and hurt is draft stock. It’s football stuff happens. You are making a huge blanket statement
