Those field condition were worse than anything I have ever seen in my life. I am amazed that noone was seriously injured in that game. The turf woudl actually slide when they tried to cut on it.

I think that loss should have an * by it in the record books. That was ridiculous.

What a horseshite flag on Hitt. Also terrible PI call on PP to keep their last scoring drive alive. Very pro Big10 crew IMO.
Who throws an unsportsmanlike instead of a delay of game in that situation. What bullshite!!

Agreed.
That game sucked though. I don't think either team had a chance to play well. It was just a huge clusterfrick of bodies being thrown around.
On a dry field, LSU would have torn them to pieces imho.
That sloppy field was perfect for Penn.
I also don't think that the Hitt penalty made a difference. No way we could make it down the field. Too much mud to do anything like that.

I understand that captain obvious, I meant that the field conditions was more suited for Penn st. style of play than ours and that it affected them more than us.

Weren't we at PSU's 45 when the penalty occurred?
Only needed about 20 yards to be in field goal position. Not far fetched at all.

You're completely right. It was possible, it's just the feeling I had when I watched that entire damn game.

Nah, LSU couldnt tear anyone to pieces last year. A dry field wouldve made for a better played game, and LSU mightve even won, but it wouldnt have been a blowout.

I live in Orlando and I will NEVER step in that stadium again.

that was the game right there. If the refs do their job and stop the clock when the PS guy was rolling around then we have time for one more play and a fg.

Penn State had to play on the same field. I am glad no one got hurt. We lost. Get over it.

Classic terrible game conditions for what could have been a really good game. Even had we won I would have still been disappointed.
