Where do our fans think LSU ranks in terms of paying it's coaches. Les Miles makes some bank but what about the rest of the staff.

They all get plenty of cake from what I heard. Among the best in the country for assistants.

We have the reputation of paying top salaries to our coordinators. I am not certain on the position coaches, but the assumption being that if we pay at the top of the market for head coaches and coordinators, that would hold as well for the position coaches. I know that Pelini made $400k or $450k and Crowton gets $400k or $450k, and I think Crowton is the highest paid coordinator in NCAA football.

They are almost (if not) the highest paid assistants in the country. Alabama may be a bit higher since Saban's arrival, but the assistants at LSU are paid more than just about anyone.

Malleveto is being paid far more than the $6.50 an hour they are worth.

I think Crowton is more like $600k. He is not the highest paid coordinator, but is close. The two coaches in waiting Jimbo and Muschamp make more.

When Jimbo was at LSU he was the highest paid coordiantor in the nation though.

With his new deal at Texas, Muschamp is the highest now at 700k.

Jimbo's base is $620k plus gets $2.5 mil if not named the head coach with in 3 years.
