They shouldn’t. Not to jinx it but I don’t really think they have a chance. And even if they do we would be in above at least 2 other teams

I'm still trying to figure out how everyone elses RPI moves up or down after a win or loss and ours just stays the same.
BTW, UCSB is down to 16 and WVU is up to 11.

UCSB does NOT have a conference tournament
they're playing a regular 3-game series this weekend (at home against the #2 team currently in the Big West, Cal Poly)
UCSB can obviously still win that series, even though they lost game 1 of it
that said... if they sleepwalk through this series and end up getting swept... they won't even get the Big West's auto-bid to the regionals

They can also look at both criteria. It's not simply one or the other. All the teams competing for spots have warts on their resumé

Wake Forest is close to punching their ticket to the Semis, ending NC States chance.
NC State/Miami/UNC is interesting.
If NC State doesn't come back, only one of these three (UNC/Miami) will make it to the Semis. And with what will be in the semis they will be the favorite to win. So you have to figure that team has a host spot. The other two will be fighting for the final 3 spots with LSU, UCSB, WVU, aTm, Ole Miss. Have to like LSU's chances of getting one of those 3 spots against those 6.
I lie about being the favorite. Georgia Tech is still alive, but the other two will be BC and Wake.
