LSU-OM Stats - What Stands Out to You?

A few things:
- Total yds (330 vs 426)
- Passing yds (158 vs 363)
- OM had 289 total yds in the 1st half but only 137 in the 2nd half. We had 213 2nd half total yds.
- We outrushed OM 172 to 63.

A game like this usually turns on no more than a half dozen plays if that. Flip those and we're all happy campers.

3rd down defense was the stat that lost us the game.
Our DL getting handled by a so-so UM OL was the thing that was most demoralizing.

The stat sheet shows we were 9-15 and OM 9-13 on 3rd down. It wasn't as huge of a difference as I thought it would be.

The stat sheet shows he had two carries before our fist TD drive:
- On our 2nd possession he lost a yd on 2nd and 8
- On our 3rd possession he carried once for 2 yds
