Just do me a favor and not put 1969 on here, could have been our 2nd NC, and didn't even go to a bowl........

That was some great memories. I watched your video of the 71 LSU Notre Dame game - I was at that game, one of the most exciting in Tiger history.

Nice blast from the past. I was seven when that game was played. Three observations from the clip;

Nice hair.

White boys could run fast then.

Confederate flags? With the cheerleaders?

Wow.

Times have changed.

I was a sophomore at that time and at that game.

It is still one of my favorites considering the rivalry that existed then between LSU and Ole Miss and remembering the loss the year before in Oxford that kept LSU out of the National Championship race.

The leaping chest bump was alive and well back in 1970!

Remeber watching that game on TV, very rare event then to see LSU on TV ,much less prime time. I have always thought that it was that game that started the throwing of oranges for teams headed to the Orange Bowl

Was surprised to see that. Did not remember that as a kid. Numbers 30 and (I think) 37 had some hops in them.

Very cool vid.

Great video!! I was at the 73 game in Jackson and they carried the rebels out on their shoulders and we kicked them good. I think Mike Miley was our qb.

Bert Jones was QB in 71

Miley was QB in 1973

Imagine what would happen if they played Dixie and waved confederate flags now.
